After about 45 minutes  in a car  from Rotorua, we arrived onto a gravel  road.  We kept driving until we reached Kerosene Creek. Kerosene Creek is about 150 cm deep and the pool is about 6m wide. The creek has a sandy bottom and it was funny putting sand on each other and swimming in the amazing heat. Me and my friends were throwing rocks in the water seeing if we could skim the rocks but we didn’t do very well and  only skimmed a flat rock once. After we left the amazing and very hot creek,  we headed off back to camp for a swim in the much cooler  Blue Lake.
